In Drinking at the Movies, award-winning comic artist Wertz (creator of the cult-hit comic The Fart Party) details the year she left her hometown of San Francisco for Brooklyn’s unfamiliar streets. Author/illustrator Lemelman’s Two Cents Plain chronicles his family’s arrival in the 1950s and their rise and fall, along with their neighborhood, in the turmoil of the 60s.
